Tutorials

I love finding tutorials and learning how to do new things. The biggest thing that I have found is that these tutorials are covered in ads. Ads on the sides, ads in between each paragraph, and all the bottom. There are so many ads on these blogs that I leave before I can get halfway through. 

So what did I learn, not much. Too many ads have annoyed me and I left to find another tutorial with less ads so maybe I can focus on the post and not be hendered by so many ads. I dont understand why bloggers who are writing tutorials want to write a paragraph then post an ad and so on and so forth. I understand that you are advertising and making money, but jeez! Can you just not do that!

Well due to all that annoying advertisement going on, I figured I would start my own blog and write my own experiances down and kind of do a tutorial for others. Hopefully, others will find my blog useful and share it with others. 

I have always been a fan of rustic, vintage and antiques. I love the history behind antiques! I finally convinced my husband to bring a 100 year old screen door home to NC from Arkansas this past summer so I could make a cabinet. Dont worry, the house has started to cave in on itself and we got permission to take it. Now to find old barn wood that wont cost me an arm and a leg. But for now, Im working on small projects that I shall post here.
